The Sheffield and Rotherham Branch has over 250 members and our aims are:
- To promote and safeguard the interest of our members, and their dependants.
- To promote members welfare, and social contacts.
- To maintain links between retired friends and former colleagues
- To maintain links with South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue
We are one of the two branches which encompass the area served by South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue. The other branch is the Barnsley and Doncaster Branch.
Membership of NARF costs £0.70p per calendar month, and all former members of SYFR may join the Association via this site.

The Branch meets on a quarterly basis at the Showroom and Workstation, Paternoster Row, Sheffield. The date and time of the next meeting is displayed at the top of the 'News and Information' Page
